Starboy is the third studio album by Canadian singer songwriter The Weeknd, released in November 2016 via XO and Republic Records.
The Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. In 2010, he anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" and released the mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence in 2011 which quickly gained him a following and recognition from several mainstream publications due to his dark wave-style of R&B and the mystique surrounding his identity.
His third album Starboy features guest appearances from Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future.
Seven singles have been released from the album: "Starboy", "I Feel It Coming", "Party Monster", "Reminder", "Rockin'", "Die for You", and "Secrets".
Starboy debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart and reached #5 on the UK and #1 on the Australian albums charts.
The album won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
This is a limited edition double album on translucent red coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Germany via XO and Republic Records.
