The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow

Hurry Up Tomorrow is the sixth studio album by Canadian singer songwriter The Weeknd, released in January 2025 via XO and Republic Records.

The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. In 2010, he anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" and released the mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence in 2011 which quickly gained him a following and recognition from several mainstream publications due to his dark wave-style of R&B and the mystique surrounding his identity.

Hurry Up Tomorrow is primarily an R&B, synth-pop, and trap album, while exploring a wide variety of genres such as Brazilian funk, and hip-hop. Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final instalment of a trilogy following the Weeknd's previous two studio albums, After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022), with the After Hours Til Dawn Tour supporting all three albums. The Weeknd has hinted that this may be his final album under the name, as he plans to "kill" the alter ego. Moving forward, he intends to continue his musical career—perhaps under his real name, Abel Tesfaye, or possibly still as The Weeknd.

The album was preceded by two singles; "Timeless", and "São Paulo", with "Cry for Me" following after the album's release. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for its production, songwriting, vocal performances, and closure to the arc started with the Weeknd's debut mixtape, House of Balloons (2011).

On 31 January 2025 a total of 24 songs were released: 22 standard tracks, plus two bonus tracks ("Runaway" and "Society"). The album was made available in three versions:

• Standard Edition: Includes all 22 standard tracks. Initially only a digital release, physical units will be available in May 2025.
• 00XO Edition (digital only): Includes all 22 standard tracks, plus two bonus tracks.
• First Pressing Edition (physical only): Features 9 selected tracks from the 22 standard tracks, plus two bonus tracks.

This vinyl edition is the first pressing edition, with a total of 11 tracks.

This album is a limited edition first pressing on crystal clear coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a plain black polylined inner sleeve, pressed in Germany via XO and Republic Records.
