Madman Across The Water is the fourth studio album by British singer-songwriter Elton John, originally released in November 1971 via DJM Records.

Elton John's Madman Across the Water is his fourth album (and third within the year) originally recorded in 1971 as the first album to fully feature his iconic line-up with Dee Murray, Nigel Olsson, Davey Johnstone and Ray Cooper appearing on the album. Several session musicians were used to record the album including renowned keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The album generated a number of hits, including the singles "Levon" and "Tiny Dancer”.

The album features extensive string arrangements by Paul Buckmaster across the whole album.

This album is a 50^th Anniversary limited edition blue and white propeller coloured vinyl featuring the 2016 Bob Ludwig remaster cut at Abbey Road Studios, housed in a PVC sleeve, pressed in Germany via Rocket.
