X is the eighth studio album by British hard rock band Def Leppard, originally released in July 2002 via Bludgeon Riffola and Mercury Records.

Much like 1996's Slang, X (pronounced Ten) featured another departure from their signature sound by moving more into the pop genre.

This was the first album where drummer Rick Allen played a significant role in writing songs for the album. Two songs “Unbelievable” and “Long, Long Way To Go” were also written by non-band members.

The album reached #11 on the US Billboard 200, #14 on the UK and #49 on the Australian albums charts.

This album is being released on vinyl for the first time in 2021.

This album is on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via Bludgeon Riffola and Mercury Records.
