Dear Life is the seventh solo studio album by American musician Brendan Benson, released in May 2020 via Third Man Records.

Brendan Benson is Michigan born and Nashville based singer-songwriter who plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and drums. He has released seven solo studio albums and is a member of the band The Raconteurs.

Fellow Raconteur Jack White guests on the song “Who’s Gonna Love You”.

His previous solo album You Were Right (2013) was praised by Blurt :stands as his best thus far, a vivid, emphatic encapsulation of pure pop coupled with unabashedly enthusiastic execution”, Mojo “a winner from top to bottom”, Uncut “orthodox but unusually clever, evocative of fellow wry strummers such as Nick Lowe and Old 97’sRhett Miller”, American Songwriter, and others.

Benson has earned four Grammy nominations and charted three Top 10 US and UK albums as a member of The Raconteurs. Their acclaimed 2019 comeback album Help Us Stranger debuted at #1 on the “Billboard 200” #2 in Canada, and #8 in the UK.
