Caligula's Horse - Rise Radiant

Rise Radiant is fifth studio album by Australian progressive metal band Caligula’s Horse, released in July 2020 via Inside Out Music.

Caligula's Horse is an Australian progressive metal band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band was formed by Sam Vallen and Jim Grey in early 2011. The current lineup consists of lead vocalist Jim Grey, lead guitarist Sam Vallen, guitarist Adrian Goleby, bassist and vocalist Dale Prinsse and drummer Josh Griffin.

Rise Radiant is the first album to feature bassist Dale Prinsse, who joined the band in 2019. The release of the album was preceded by the release of three singles from the album: “The Tempest”, “Slow Violence”, and “Valkyrie”.

Rise Radiant is comprised of eight tracks and the vinyl edition includes two bonus tracks, covers of the Split Enz song “Message To My Girl” and the Peter Gabriel song “Don’t Give Up” which also features a guest appearance by Lynsey Ward of Exploring Birdsong.

The album has reached #23 on the Australian ARIA albums charts.
