Van Halen - Women And Children First

Women And Children First is the third studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen, originally released in March 1980 via Warner Bros. Records.

Produced by Ted Templeman and engineered by Donn Landee, Women And Children First was the first Van Halen album not to feature any cover songs, with all the songs written solely by the band.

The album featured lead single, "And the Cradle Will Rock...," as well as live favourite, "Everybody Wants Some!!"

Formed in Los Angeles in 1974, Van Halen changed the rock and roll landscape forever with the release of their influential and wildly successful eponymous debut album in 1978; an album that would go on to define a generation and sell more than 10 million copies in the US.

The band then subsequently produced a repertoire of hits that remain some of the strongest and most influential rock songs ever written that fans will admire for decades to come. With more than 75 million albums sold worldwide, and more No. 1 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart than any other artist, the band's record of achievement is hard to top.

This album is a 2024 repress on black vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with remastered audio, pressed in Europe via Warner Records.
