Train - Drops Of Jupiter

Drops Of Jupiter is the second studio album by American rock band Train, originally released in March 2001 via Columbia Records.

Train’s second album broke them commercially with the success of the album’s title song “Drops Of Jupiter”, which reached #5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and earned the band two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s). Paul Buckmaster (noted for his work with Elton John, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones) provided the string arrangement for this track, which adds a beautiful dimension to the song.

Two other singles were released from the album “Something More” and “She’s On Fire”.

The album was produced by Brendan O’Brien and recorded by Nick DiDia.

The album reached #6 on the US Billboard 200, #8 on the UK and #3 on the Australian albums charts, and remains their biggest selling album to date in the US.

This album is being released on vinyl for the very first time via Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi) in the US and the audio has been mastered from the original master tapes.

This album is on 180 gram high definition vinyl featuring remastered audio and limited to 3,000 individually numbered copies, pressed in the US via MoFi.
