The Richest Man In Babylon is the third studio album by American trip-hop group Thievery Corporation, originally released in September 2002 via Eighteenth Street Lounge Music.

Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C. based recording artist and DJ collective consisting of Rob Garza, Eric Hilton, and their supporting artists Rob Myers, Loulou Ghelichkhani, Natalia Clavier, Frank 'Booty Lock' Mitchell, Mr. Lif, Jeff Franca and Ashish Vyas. Their music style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, hip hop, electronica and Brazilian, including bossa nova.

The Richest Man In Babylon features contributions from Emiliana Torrini, LouLou, Pam Bricker, and Notch, and features both electronic and live instrumentation.

The album combines influences such as dub, jazz, dance music, rap, reggae, and Indian music, and incorporates protest music into the group's sound.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2025 reissue on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in the US via Primary Wave Music.
