The Top is the fifth studio album by British alternative rock band The Cure, originally released in May 1984 via Fiction Records in the UK and Sire Records in the US.

The latest in the series of beautiful picture discs from The Cure, The Top celebrates 40 years with this edition. This set features founding drummer of The Cure Lol Tolhurst on keyboards and then-new drummer Andy Andreson on the skins.

Cut from the 2006 remaster, The Top features "The Caterpillar," "Shake Dog Shake," "Birdmad Girl," and "Dressing Up" among other fan favourites.

This album is a limited edition 2024 Record Store Day reissue on picture disc vinyl housed in a die cut single pocket sleeve, pressed in Europe via Fiction and Polydor Records.
