Kylie Minogue - Golden

Golden is the fourteenth studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, released in April 2018 via BMG.

Golden is the first album to be released through Kylie’s new record labels BMG Rights Management and Liberation Music in Australia, after her contract ended with Parlophone Records.

The new album was recorded in Nashville, TN and sees Kylie expand her sonic landscape into the realm of country music. She has described the resulting sound as “Dolly Parton standing on a dance floor”.

The album is the first where Kylie has co-written all the songs on the album and sees her writing in a more reflective mood than on her previous albums. The songs are more authentic and convey stories compared to her previous material.

She worked with a number of different writers and producers on the album and the results are great. It’s wonderful to see Kylie try something new and different on this album.

The album features a guest appearance from British / Italian folk musician Jack Savoretti on “Music’s Too Sad Without You”.

This LP record is on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with digital download code, pressed in the UK.
