Justin Timberlake - Man Of The Woods

Man Of The Woods is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake, released in February 2018 via RCA Records.

Man Of The Woods sees a shift in musical influences moving towards more Southern American music with a modern twist, incorporating R&B, funk and soul. He enlisted various producers to collaborate with on the album including The Neptunes, Timbaland, Danja, J-Roc, Eric Hudson and Rob Knox.

Timberlake described the inspiration of the album and its supporting tour came from the outdoors as well as his family, "The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs. That's the main idea. The tour will be able to bring the outside in. How can we bring that to life? I want people to see the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. I've never seen that done before: Bring the outside in."

Timberlake collaborates with Chris Stapleton on the album, who co-wrote three songs, and contributes vocals on “Say Something”. Alicia Keys is featured on the song “Morning Light”.

The album has received mixed reviews from the music critics. In Rolling Stone magazine, Christopher R. Weingarten gave the album a positive review, saying "parts of Man of the Woods are his most exploratory music in years.”

The album debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 Albums chart and has reached #2 in the UK and #2 in Australia.
