The Raw & The Cooked is the second studio album by British rock band Fine Young Cannibals, originally released in January 1989 via London Records.

The album is considered to be an eclectic, varied album, taking influences from numerous genres including Motown soul, rock, funk, British beat and pop.

Four songs from the album had appeared on film soundtracks before the album was released.

The Raw & The Cooked was a major commercial success, selling over three million copies. Numerous singles were released from the album, including the two US number one singles "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing".

The album was also critically acclaimed and Jo-Ann Greene of AllMusic called the album a masterpiece and one of the 1980s' most exciting albums.

The album reached #1 on the US Billboard 200, #1 on the UK and #1 on the Australian albums charts.

This album is a 2020 reissue (30^th Anniversary) on 140 gram white coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with remastered audio and a download code featuring rare & unreleased tracks, pressed in Europe via London Records.
