Everything But The Girl - Temperamental

Temperamental is the tenth studio album by British musical duo Everything But The Girl, originally released in September 1999 via Virgin Records and Atlantic Records in the US.

Temperamental was recorded in the period after the birth of their twin daughters in 1998 with Ben Watt taking on a more prominent role in the writing and production of the album. Temperamental continues in the vein of Walking Wounded (1996) with Watt incorporating production techniques he had learned in his three years as a resident DJ at Bar Rumba and Notting Hill Arts Club into the album's songs, including cross-fading, back spinning, and filtering.

"The Future of the Future (Stay Gold)", "Five Fathoms", "Blame", "Temperamental" and "Lullaby of Clubland" were released as singles from the album.

The album reached #65 on the US Billboard 20, #16 on the UK and #3 on the Australian albums charts.

This double album 2LP record set is a limited edition reissue on high fidelity 180 gram black vinyl with a printed insert, featuring half speed mastered audio for vinyl by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, pressed in the UK via Buzzin’ Fly Records.
