Europe - Out Of This World

Out Of This World is the fourth studio album by Swedish rock band Europe, originally released in August 1988 via Epic Records.

The album was produced by Ron Nevison and recorded at Olympic Studios and Townhouse Studios, London, England.

Four singles were released from the album: "Superstitious", "Open Your Heart", "Let the Good Times Rock" and "More Than Meets The Eye".

"Superstitious" was the first single released from the album and is arguably one of Europe's most recognizable and popular songs, showing the vocal capabilities of lead singer Joey Tempest. The album also showcases the lead guitar work of Kee Marcello, who had replaced founding member John Norum after the release of their prior studio album The Final Countdown (1986).

Out of This World was the band's follow up album to the successful album The Final Countdown and became Europe's best-selling album in Switzerland. Out of This World achieved platinum status in the United States, platinum status in Switzerland and gold in Canada.

The album reached #19 on the US Billboard 200, #12 on the UK and #28 on the Australian Albums charts.
