Dido - Still On My Mind

Still On My Mind is the fifth studio album by English singer songwriter Dido, released in March 2019 via BMG.

Dido is an English singer and songwriter, who attained international success with her debut album No Angel (1999). Hit singles from the album include "Here with Me" and "Thank You". It sold over 21 million copies worldwide, and won her several awards, including two Brit Awards: Best British Female and Best British Album, and the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. The first verse of "Thank You" is sampled in "Stan", a collaboration with Eminem. Her next album, Life for Rent (2003), continued her success with the hit singles "White Flag" and "Life for Rent".

Dido is back with her first new album in five years, the stunning Still On My Mind out, written and recorded in England, a result of the fruitful and incredibly natural production/ songwriting partnership with her long-term collaborator and brother (Faithless founder) Rollo. The new album follows the 2013 release of the acclaimed Girl Who Got Away.

Dido describes the making of this album as “an absolutely magical experience”. She says: “I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this”. She said it was "made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home".

The teaser single "Hurricanes" was released in November 2018. The official lead single "Give You Up" was premiered 22 January 2019 on BBC Radio 2.

This album is on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via BMG.
