Shellac - Dude Incredible

Dude Incredible is the fifth studio album by American rock band Shellac, released in September 2014 via Touch and Go.

Shellac is an American independent rock band from Chicago, Illinois, composed of Steve Albini (guitar and vocals), Bob Weston (bass guitar and vocals) and Todd Trainer (drums and vocals) and formed in 1992. Their music genre has been classified as post-hardcore and noise rock, but they describe themselves as a "minimalist rock trio."

Recording took place sporadically over the past few years at Steve's Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.

The record was mastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road studios. The LP was mastered entirely in the analogue domain, using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process. The LPs are being manufactured at RTI in Camarillo, CA, using their HQ-180 system. The pressings are 180 gram audiophile quality.

Physical copies of Dude Incredible are packaged in a chipboard album jacket. The packaging features two "high gloss, full color monkeys" as the front cover artwork. The front cover was photographed by Reuters photographer Anton Meres; additional photographic images were provided by David Manthey.

The album has received universal acclaim from music critics upon release.

This album is on 180 gram audiophile black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve and CD album copy, pressed in the US via Touch and Go.
