After closing the chapter on his Mathematics series, Ed Sheeran is finally back and stepping boldly into a fresh new phase for 2025.

By exploring the common threads of scale, rhythm, and melody that connect musical traditions throughout history, Sheeran has crafted a collection of songs that seamlessly blend these influences into a bold, pop-driven sound.

On Play, Sheeran collaborated with various producers and musicians, including Ilya, Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, Omer Fedi, Savan Kotecha, Elvira Anderfjärd, and Johnny McDaid.

The album was supported by five singles: "Azizam", "Old Phone", "Sapphire", "A Little More", and "Camera".

This album is deluxe edition compact disc housed in a softpack with a 20 page booklet and two bonus tracks, pressed in Germany via Gingerbread Man and Atlantic Records.
