Midas is the second studio album by British alternative rock band Wunderhorse, released in August 2024 via Communion Records.
Wunderhorse formed in 2020 by frontman and songwriter Jacob Slater, initially a solo project. Wunderhorse became a full band in 2021 comprising Jacob Slater (vocals, guitar), Harry Fowler (guitar), Peter Woodin (bass) and Jamie Staples (drums). Woodin has since been replaced by Seb Byford.
In 10 songs and 40 minutes, Wunderhorse capture the raw power and energy that has set them apart as one of the most formidable live acts of recent years.
With rugged hooks, unfiltered noise, and fierce melodic sensitivity, Midas rips up the script of traditional second albums and establishes the band as an endlessly addictive and rousing generational talent.
This album is on black vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in the UK via Communion Records.
