Songs Of Surrender is a compilation album of re-recorded songs by Irish rock band U2, released in March 2023 via Island Records.
Songs Of Surrender features 16 new acoustic and re-imagined recordings from the U2 back catalogue. The album was produced and compiled by The Edge and arranged into individual band volumes.
The album includes ‘With Or Without You’, ‘Where The Streets Have No Name’, ‘One’, ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’, ‘Pride (In The Name Of Love)’, alongside fan favourites such as ‘Stories For Boys’.
The album is a companion to Bono's memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story (2022), which was structured into 40 chapters titled after U2 songs.
U2 have sold over 175 million albums, won 22 Grammy awards, and released 14 studio albums.
This double album 2LP record set is an independent record stores limited edition on 180 gram opaque white coloured vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with a 4 page printed insert, pressed in Germany via Island Records.
