Saturday Night Fever is the soundtrack album from the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever directed by John Badman and produced by Robert Stigwood, originally released in November 1977 via RSO Records.

Saturday Night Fever was composed and performed primarily by the Bee Gees, and was (until 1992) the best-selling soundtrack album of all time.

With five previously unreleased songs by the Bee Gees: "Stayin' Alive", "Night Fever", "How Deep Is Your Love", "More Than a Woman" (performed in the film in two different versions – one version by Tavares, and another by the Bee Gees), and "If I Can't Have You" (performed in the movie by Yvonne Elliman) featuring in the film and soundtrack.

The album stayed atop the US album charts for 24 straight weeks from January to July 1978 and stayed on Billboard's album charts for 120 weeks until March 1980. In the UK, the album spent 18 consecutive weeks at #1.

The album epitomized the disco phenomenon on both sides of the Atlantic and was an international sensation.

The album was certified 15 Platinum for shipments of over 15 million copies in the United States alone. Worldwide, the album has sold more than 40 million copies.

This iconic soundtrack is the only disco album to have won the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year, and was the first of only three soundtrack albums to attain this honour to date.

In 2012, the album was ranked #132 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time", ranked again in a 2020 revised list at #163.

The album was also added to the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress in March 2013 for long-term preservation.

The album also includes tracks by Walter Murphy, M.F.S.B., Ralph McDonald, K.C. & The Sunshine Band, The Trammps, Kool & The Gang, and David Shire.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2025 limited edition reissue on clear with red, orange and blue marbled coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, pressed in Europe via Capitol Records.
