First Daze Here: The Vintage Collection is a compilation album by American doom metal band Pentagram, originally released in 2001 via Relapse Records.

Rare recordings rediscovered, remastered and revealed for the first time! Pentagram vocalist, Bobby Liebling, was brewing up proto-metal blackness when Ozzy Osbourne was still trying to figure out how to plug in a microphone.

You can't talk about heavy metal without talking about PENTAGRAM. The legendary D.C. band has been committed to the dark arts for more than forty years, and has only recently seen the kind of recognition its legacy deserves. Though the band has released nine influential full-lengths over the course of its career, PENTAGRAM's best material can be found in 'First Daze Here,' a collection of the band's earliest works that has been out-of-print for years and will now finally see a new reissue via Relapse.

This album is 2023 reissue of 4089 copies on custom half and half splatter coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed insert, pressed in the US via Relapse Records.
