Living Years is the second studio album by British supergroup Mike + The Mechanics, originally released in October 1988 via Atlantic Records in the US and WEA in Europe.

Mike + The Mechanics best-selling, Grammy-nominated sophomore album ‘Living Years’ was reissued on colour vinyl for National Albums Day 2024. The original album, which charted at number 2 in the UK album chart, went on to achieve Gold certification in the UK.

The seminal 1988 album features the Ivor Novello® Award-winning global hit single ‘The Living Years’, plus tracks 'Nobody Knows’, 'Seeing Is Believing' and 'Nobody’s Perfect’.

Paul Carrack and Paul Young shared lead vocals across the album.

This album is a 2024 limited edition reissue on 180 gram clear with black marble effect coloured vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via Craft Recordings.
