Little River Band is the debut studio album by Australian rock band Little River Band, originally released in November 1975 via EMI Records.

Originally released in 1975, Little River Band marked the arrival of one of Australia’s most enduring musical exports. Now, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the band’s seminal debut album returns as a limited-edition coloured vinyl.

This self-titled debut captured a band already in full command of their harmonies, songwriting, and melodic instincts. The group delivered a polished, transpacific sound that hinted at the global success to come.

The album was released almost a year later in the US with different album cover artwork (which is the version used for this 50^th Anniversary edition) and the third single released from the album “It’s A Long Way There” reached #28 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

The album reached #17 on the Australian and #80 on the US Billboard 200 albums charts.

This album is a 50^th Anniversary limited edition on heavyweight blue coloured vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via EMI Records.
