Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

DAMN is the fourth studio album by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, originally released in April 2017 via Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.

The album features production from a variety of record producers, including executive producer from the Top Dawg Entertainment label-head Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, Sounwave, DJ Dahi, Mike Will Made It and Ricci Riera; as well as production contributions from James Blake, Steve Lacy, BadBadNotGood, Greg Kurstin, The Alchemist and 9th Wonder, among others.

The album features appearances from Rhianna, U2 and Zacari, and has been described as conscious rap with elements of pop, R&B and trap music.

The album received critical acclaim upon release, with Metacritic assigning the album 95 out of 100 based on 39 reviews, indicating “Universal Acclaim”. Christopher R. Weingarten, an author for Rolling Stone, said, "Much like the recent A Tribe Called Quest record, DAMN is a brilliant combination of the timeless and the modern, the old school and the next-level. The most gifted rapper of a generation stomps into the Nineties and continues to blaze a trail forward."

The album debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 Albums chart, making this the third consecutive album to reach the top spot. The album has also reached #2 on the UK and Australian Albums charts.

Three singles have been released to date from the album – “Humble”, “DNA”’ and “Loyalty”.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2024 repress on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Europe via Top Dawg and Interscope Records.
