WhoCares is a charity music project by Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) and Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), originally released in July 2012 via earMusic.

This legendary collaboration between two music titans - Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) and Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) - is finally back on vinyl, and this time it's something special. The 180g white vinyl pressing gives the record a premium look and feel, while the refreshed artwork adds a new touch to this timeless classic.

WhoCares was a charity release by the supergroup WhoCares Gillan and Iommi had formed with the help of other musicians, to raise money to rebuild a music school in Gyumri, Armenia after the destruction of the city in the 1988 earthquake in Armenia.

With the tracks "Out of My Mind" and "Holy Water", "WhoCares" showcases the raw power and energy that both Gillan and Iommi are known for, together with their guest musicians none other than Jason Newsted (Ex-Metallica), Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) and Linde Lindström (HIM) supporting the two rock legends.

In addition, this collection features classics, rarities, unreleased recordings, collaborations, new mixes and forgotten songs by Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi.

This double album 2LP record set is a limited edition reissue on 180 gram white coloured vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Germany via earMusic.
