Woodland is the second collaborative studio album by American folk singer-songwriters Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, released in August 2024 via Acony Records.

Acony Records is proud to present Woodland, a new album by the preeminent songwriting duo Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Following up their GRAMMY-winning release All The Good Times, this 10-song collection mingles full band tracks with intricate duet performances tied together with a remarkable lyricism.

Woodland was recorded in Nashville, TN at Welch and Rawlings’ own Woodland Sound Studio and cements the duo’s iconoclastic position at the forefront of acoustic music.

The artists stated in a press release that the songs on Woodland are "a swirl of contradictions, emptiness, fullness, joy, grief, destruction, and permanence.”

This album is on black vinyl housed in a textured gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve and an anti-static inner sleeve, pressed in the US via Acony Records.
