Ghost - Skeletá

Skeletá is the sixth studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Ghost, released in April 2025 via Lorna Vista.

Ghost have released their highly anticipated new album: Skeletá, the Grammy-winning Swedish theatrical rock icons’ first full length offering of new material since 2022’s international #1 charting Impera, will manifest via Loma Vista Recordings.

As Ghost continues to strengthen its bond with the world-spanning legion of kindred souls that commune with the band and each other at its vaunted live rituals, it’s no exaggeration to describe Ghost; and the uniquely intense connection formed with the faithful who find refuge in the personae, lore and world Forge has created; as a singular global phenomenon.

Alongside the album announcement, the band revealed the new figurehead for the band called Papa V Perpetua. His vocal debut on the lead single "Satanized" was said to concern "demonic possessions" and succumbs to "dark forces".

Musically, the album has been described as hard rock, arena rock, pop rock, pop metal, and heavy metal.

The album debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 album charts, and has reached #1 in Australia and #2 in the UK.

This album is an independent record stores exclusive edition on opaque violet coloured vinyl housed in a mirror board single pocket sleeve with a printed inner sleeve with lyrics in metallic ink and a collectible Papa V overlay placed on the back of the jacket, pressed in Europe via Lorna Vista.
