Evanescence - Fallen

Fallen is the debut studio album by American rock band Evanescence, originally released in March 2003 via Wind-Up and Epic Records.

After releasing several EPs and a demo CD, the group signed to Wind-Up in January 2001. Writing songs for Fallen started near the time of the band's formation; several of the songs that would feature on the album appeared on the band's earlier releases.

Fallen was recorded between August and December 2002 in several locations, including Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, California. This was followed by a two-week period of mixing at Conway Recording Studios in North Hollywood.

Fallen was released on 4 March 2003, on Wind-Up and Epic Records.

Fallen is Evanescence's most commercially successful album to date, selling more than seven million copies in the United States and over 17 million copies worldwide.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Evanescence's stratospheric 2002 debut Fallen, the newly remastered 2LP set includes the global chart-topping hits "My Immortal," "Going Under," "Everybody's Fool" and the GRAMMY®-winning smash hit, “Bring Me To Life.” The expanded set also includes a trove of bonus material – ten tracks in all – comprising previously-unreleased demos, live recordings, and outtakes, plus a selection of rare B-sides. Alongside reimagined artwork with previously-unseen photos from the era, plus a heartfelt, handwritten foreword by Lee, who oversaw all aspects of the reissue. Housed in a triple gatefold rainbow foil jacket.

This double album 2LP record set is a 20^th Anniversary deluxe edition on black vinyl housed in a rainbow foil gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, bonus material and remastered audio, pressed in Europe via Craft Recordings.
