Deftones - Ohms

Ohms is the ninth studio album by American alternative metal band Deftones, released in September 2020 via Reprise Records.

Deftones have released their hugely anticipated new album Ohms and the first single from the album, the title track “Ohms” was released in August 2020.

The captivating art was designed by longtime collaborator Frank Maddocks, who also designed the iconic White Pony LP cover.

The album also boasts a familiar collaborator with producer and engineer Terry Date, who worked on 1995's Adrenaline, 1997's Around The Fur and 2000's White Pony.

Ohms has received acclaim from music critics. At Metacritic, the album received an average score of 87 out of 100, based on 21 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim".

Consequence of Sound's Joseph Schafer described Ohms as "their hardest-hitting effort in years" and "a record that hints at a purified blend of their contrasting influences in its finest moments."

The album has reached #5 on the US Billboard 200, #5 on the UK and #3 on the Australian ARIA albums charts.

This album is a limited edition on gold coloured vinyl with a printed insert, pressed in Europe via Reprise Records.
