Young Blindness is the second studio album by Australian rock band The Murlocs, originally released in March 2016 via Flightless Records.

The Murlocs formed in Ocean Grove in late 2010 and comprise Ambrose Kenny Smith (vocals, guitars), Cal Shortal (guitars), Matt Blach (drums, vocals), Cook Craig (bass) and Tim Karmouche (keyboards).

Young Blindness followed The Murlocs' 2014 debut LP "Loopholes", built upon a solid foundation of distorted licks and melodic intuition.

The hearty compositions are emboldened by the distinct vocal tremolo of singer Ambrose Kenny-Smith.

Lyrically, themes of young paranoia and self-doubt are viewed through a lens of experience, exploring the blurred meeting point with an air of blues-borne world-weariness.

This album is a 2024 limited edition reissue on yellow and green with red splatter coloured vinyl housed in a single pocket sleeve with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via ATO Records.
