Joyful Noise is the third studio album by American blues band The Derek Trucks Band, originally released in September 2002 via Columbia Records.

Joyful Noise is known for covering a wide range of genres, including gospel, blues, jazz, Latin and East Indian music. It features many well known guest artists like Susan Tedeschi (wife of frontman Derek Trucks) and Solomon Burke. It is also the first record to feature Kofi Burbridge as the bands new songwriter, keyboardist, flutist and backing vocalist.

Also featured on the album is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, nephew of legendary Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who sings on “Maki Madni”.

Produced by Russ Kunkel and Craig Street and was recorded at the Bearsville and Sunset Sound Studios.

This album is a must have for all fans of Southern rock, and is pressed on vinyl for the very first time.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2016 release on 180 gram black audiophile vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Europe via Music On Vinyl.
