Severed Ties is the debut studio album by Australian hard rock band The Amity Affliction, originally released in October 2008 via Boomtown Records.

The Amity Affliction formed in Queensland in 2003 and are a metalcore hard rock band, renowned for highly personal songs dealing with issues such as anxiety, drug abuse and depression.

Their debut studio album Severed Ties was released on 4 October 2008 through Boomtown Records, which debuted at No. 26 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart, and No. 6 on the related Australian Artists Albums Chart.

The album was the last release to feature guitarist Chris Burt and the first to feature drummer Ryan Burt.

This album is a 15^th Anniversary limited edition of 1,000 copies on red, white & blue quad with splatter coloured vinyl housed in a foil print gatefold sleeve, pressed in Europe via UNFD.
