The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest is the debut studio album by Australian punk rock duo Teenage Joans, released in October 2023 via Domestic La La Records.

Teenage Joans are an Australian indie rock and punk rock duo from Adelaide, South Australia, who formed in 2018. The duo consists of vocalist and drummer Tahlia Borg and vocalist and guitarist Cahli Blakers.

They rose to prominence with their debut single "By the Way". Their second single, "Three Leaf Clover", was released in March 2020 and became the winning song of Triple J's 2020 Unearthed High competition. Their debut extended play, Taste of Me, was released on 28 May 2021.

Equally inspired by the golden era of punk a la Blink-182 and Paramore as much as they are by fellow modern Aussies WAAX, Camp Cope and Tired Lion, Teenage Joans take their whimsical yet hard-hitting nostalgia to even greater heights as they approach the release of their debut full length The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, out October 13 via Domestic La La.
