Picture Book is the debut studio album by British pop soul group Simply Red, originally released in October 1985 via Elektra Records.

The album includes the bands most successful single “Holding Back the Years” which reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and # 2 on the UK singles charts. The album includes a cover of the Valentine Brothers song “Money's Too Tight (To Mention)”, which was released as the first single from the album.

Three other singles were released from the album “Come To My Aid”, “Jericho” and “Open Up The Red Box” which helped drive the album into the Top 40 album charts around the world, and earned the band a Grammy in 1987 for Best New Artist.

This album is a 2020 reissue on 180 gram black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Germany via EastWest Records.
