Post Malone - Twelve Carat Toothache

Twelve Carat Toothache is the fourth studio album by American hip hop artist Post Malone, released in June 2022 via Republic Records.

Post Malone, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer. Known for his introspective songwriting and laconic vocal style, Malone has gained acclaim for bending a range of genres including country, grunge, hip hop and R&B. He first attained recognition in 2015 following the release of his debut single "White Iverson".

Malone's debut album Stoney (2016) was a commercial success and featured the hit single "Congratulations". In 2018, the album broke the record for most weeks on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart after it reached its 77th week on the chart. His second album, Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018), debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 albums chart and featured the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart number one singles "Rockstar" and "Psycho". Beerbongs & Bentleys was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

His thid alubm Hollywood’s Bleeding also debuted at number one in the US and was nominated for “album of the year” at the 63^rd Grammy Awards.

Post Malone’s 4th studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache, is his most intimate and personal opus to date. Throughout the fourteen tracks, Post takes us with him on his trials with fame, giving a glimpse into the irony of seemingly having it all, but feeling like nothing all at the same time.

In an interview with Billboard, Post explained he wants the new songs to “speak more to how I’m feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream”.

The album includes guest appearances from Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Gunna, Fleet Foxes, the Kid Laroi, and The Weeknd.

Twelve Carat Toothache was supported by three singles: "One Right Now", "Cooped Up", and "I Like You (A Happier Song)".

The album received generally positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success. It debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 and is Post Malone's fourth top-five album in the US.
