Overnight Sensation is the thirteenth studio album by English metal band Motörhead, originally released in October 1996 via Steamhammer.

Overnight Sensation was their second album released on the Steamhammer label. The ironically titled Overnight Sensation was Motörhead's third album with producer Howard Benson. Following the departure of Würzel (Michael Burston) in 1995, the band returned to the same three-man "classic Motörhead line up of bass guitar/ vocals, lead guitar, and drums. Despite being only a three-piece band, the band had a heavier style on this work than on its previous album, Sacrifice (1995).

This album was also the first since Ace of Spades (1980) to have a picture of all members of the band on the cover, with a notable absence of Lemmy’s distinctive mutton chops.

This album is a 25^th Anniversary limited edition on transparent green smoke coloured vinyl with a printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via BMG.
