Spine Of God is the debut studio album by American stoner rock band Monster Magnet, originally released in December 1991 via Caroline Records.

The kings of hard psychedelic rock present "Spine Of God" a re-release of their first studio album. Originally released in 19991, this milestone is the perfect reincarnation of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Hawkwind. It has already achieved cult status in the Stoner Rock genre. The album was completely written and produced by singer and mastermind Dave Wyndorf.

The album represents one of the earliest examples of the emerging 1990s sub-genre of stoner rock. Though Spine of God did not perform well commercially upon its initial release, the album was listed on Spin magazine's "Ten Best Albums of the Year You Didn't Hear" for 1991.

This re-issue is an absolute must-have for any Stoner / Psychedelic Rock Fan.

This album is a 2017 reissue on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Germany via Napalm Records.
