Kacey Musgraves - Deeper Well

Deeper Well is the sixth studio album by American country singer songwriter Kacey Musgraves, released in March 2024 via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.

Seven-time Grammy Award winner, Kacey Musgraves releases her fifth studio album ‘Deeper Well’. The album captures rolling acoustic guitars, puffy clouds of strings and synth, warm bass punctuations, layered harmonies, moments of Celtic melody and plenty of room on the tracks for Musgraves’ silvery vocals.

On the bright, almost folky title track, Kacey Musgraves surveys her life and priorities, recognising what feeds her, drains her and even examines the childhood she’s left behind on her way to now. Saturn returns, cardinals embody a dead friend, love is given and taken, streets rush by, belongings are packed and old chapters deserted, new love blooms, jade bracelets serve as talismans, deep lessons emerge, small details define everything, the woods are a refuge and New York City serves as the same gleaming beacon as Oz.

The album was preceded by the release of two singles: "Deeper Well" and "Too Good to Be True".

Majority of the album was co-produced and co-written by Musgraves, with Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk. Musgraves recorded the album at the Electric Lady Studios in New York City, which she thinks "has the best mojo" while she was "seeking some different environmental energy".

This album is an indie record stores limited edition on “spilled milk” clear with white splatter coloured vinyl housed in an embossed gatefold sleeve with a scented printed inner sleeve, pressed in Europe via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.
