Kaleidoscope is the fourth studio album by progressive rock band Transatlantic, originally released in January 2014 via Metal Blade Records.

Transatlantic is a progressive rock supergroup comprising Neal Morse (ex Spock’s Beard), Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings), Mike Portnoy (ex Dream Theater), and Pete Trewavas (Marillion). The band was founded in 1999 by Mike Portnoy, who envisioned an all-star progressive rock band with the finest players from prog’s leading bands.

Transatlantic’s 4th studio album Kaleidoscope, was released on 27 January 2014, 5 years after their previous release The Whirlwind. The album found the group returning with a couple of long epics including the 25 minute “Into the Blue” and the 31 minute title track that bookended a few shorter tracks including the single “Shine”, the psychedelic rocker “Black as the Sky”, and the sombre “Beyond the Sun.”

This double album 2LP record set is a 2022 reissue on 180 gram black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a 4 page insert and CD album copy, pressed in Germany via Inside Out Music.
