When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes is the seventh studio album by American alternative rock band Yellowcard, originally released in March 2011 via Hopeless Records.

Yellowcard was formed in 1997 in Jacksonville, Fla., after meeting at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. The band got its name from a phrase its members used in high school: whenever somebody did something stupid at a party, such as spilling a beer, they cited soccer rules and gave the offender a “yellow card” for committing a “party foul”. The group's music is distinctive within the band's genre because it features the prominent use of a violin.

After the band took a hiatus from 2008 until 2010, they began work on their new album with producer Neal Avron. Sean O’Donnell replaced Josh Portman on bass, who did not return to the band after their hiatus.

The band announced that they wanted to make an album for their fans, and they delivered in spades. The album has energy, lots of violin (Sean Mackin), simple and meaningful lyrics by Ryan Key (lead vocalist / guitarist) and gets off to a cracking start with “The Sound of You and Me”. It’s as though the band had finally found their sweet spot, making a collection of pop-rock songs that are passionate and energetic.

The first single released from the album was “For You, And Your Denial” which peaked at #100 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. The second single was “Hang You Up”, which failed to chart in the Hot 100.

The album received positive reviews from music critics upon release. AbsolutePunk reviewer Thomas Nassiff summarized the reunion album as "a holistic recap of the band's career that still shows good progression" and "one very important thing: Yellowcard is back, and they're back for good". Jared Ponton of Sputnikmusic, in his review giving the album 4 out of 5 stars, wrote, "The record bleeds with the best that Yellowcard have done thus far, yet in a fresh context, bursting with newfound energy after a short hiatus that, in hindsight, was certainly needed."

This is an album the band definitely delivered on for their fan base.
