What Kinda Music is the second studio album by British DJ, producer and singer-songwriter Tom Misch in collaboration with British jazz drummer Yussef Dayes, released in April 2020 via Blue Note Records.

Moving fluidly through sleek electronica, avant-garde jazz, vintage hip hop and so much more, Misch and Dayes take you on a journey that is by turns surprising and spontaneous, heady and head spinning, and nothing less than compelling. A singular vision which fuses the DNA of both musicians with spectacular results.

Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes are two of the most exciting figures in the London jazz and neo-soul scene. They cover the likes of Kamasi Washington, Loyle Carner, GoldLink, Jordan Rakei and many others. The album features American rapper Freddie Gibbs and the rising jazz bassist Rocco Palladino, the son of Pino Palladino.

This double album 2LP record set is on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in the US via Blue Note Records.
