Thin Lizzy - Live And Dangerous

Live And Dangerous is a live album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, originally released in June 1978 via Vertigo Records.

Live And Dangerous contains live recordings from shows at the Hammersmith Odeon, London in November 1976 and Toronto, Canada in October 1977, with production and overdubs completed in Paris in January 1978. The extent of overdubs used on this release have been contentious since its release, however the end result was a stunning reflection of the band at the height of its musical and commercial success. The album was the last to feature guitarist Brian Robertson who left the band shortly afterwards.

The album was released as a double live album and reached #2 on the UK Albums chart, ultimately selling over half a million copies. Live And Dangerous was held from the top spot of the UK Albums chart by another double album, the Grease soundtrack. It has continued to attract critical acclaim and has appeared in several lists of the greatest live albums of all time.

This double album is a 2020 reissue on 180 gram black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with reproduced artwork, pressed in Europe via Vertigo Records.
