Modern Artillery is the third studio album by Australian rock band The Living End, originally released in October 2003 via EMI Records.

Australian rock band The Living End formed in 1994 in Melbourne. The bands line-up since 2002 has comprised Chris Cheney (vocals, guitar), Scott Owen (double bass, backing vocals) and Andy Strachan (drums).

Modern Artillery is a sunnier pop-influenced punk rock album compared to its predecessor Roll On (2000).

It is the first album to feature drummer Andy Strachan, since Travis Demsey had left the band after their second album, Roll On (2000).

The song "Who's Gonna Save Us?" was released as a single and appeared in commercials for the documentary film Fahrenheit 9/11. The song "End of the World" is featured on the soundtrack for the video game Tony Hawk's Underground 2.

The album peaked at number 3 on the Australian album charts.

This album is a 2020 limited edition reissue of 1000 numbered copies on 180 gram audiophile red coloured vinyl, pressed in Europe via Music On Vinyl.
