Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? is the debut studio album by Irish rock band The Cranberries, originally released in March 1993 via Island Records.

The Cranberries are an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989 by lead singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. Quinn was replaced as lead singer by Dolores O'Riordan in 1990.

The band had released four EPs prior to the release of their debut album.

The band engaged producer Stephen Street to produce their debut album. Street had worked with The Smiths and also produced albums for Blur. All the songs on the album were written by O’Riordan and Noel Hogan.

The debut single from the album “Dreams” was released in September 1992 and neither the second single “Linger” nor the album garnered much commercial attention when they were released. The band went on to support Suede and caught the attention of MTV who put their videos on heavy rotation, helping to push both singles back into the charts and the album to #1 on the UK Albums chart in June 1994.

At the end of 1995, the album ranked as the 50th best selling album in Australia. It reached #18 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart and sold over five million copies there.

Check out the tracks:  Dreams”; “Linger”; “I Still Do”; and “Sunday”.

This LP record is a 2017 reissue on 180 gram audiophile vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with remastered audio, pressed in the US.
