The Pick Of Destiny is the second studio and soundtrack album by American comedy rock band Tenacious D, originally released in November 2006 via Epic Records.

Tenacious D is an American comedy rock duo, formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1994. It was founded by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass, who were members of The Actors' Gang Theater company at the time. The duo's name is derived from "tenacious defense", a phrase used by NBA basketball sportscaster Marv Albert.

The Pick Of Destiny is the soundtrack album to the feature film of the same name. The album was produced by the Dust Brothers' John King, and includes guest appearances by Meat Loaf, Ronnie James Dio, and Dave Grohl.

The cover shows Black and Gass in the clouds, parodying Michelangelo's painting The Creation of Adam.

The album reached #8 on the US Billboard 200, #10 on the UK and #35 on the Australian ARIA albums charts.

This album is a 2017 “We are Vinyl” series reissue on 180 gram black vinyl with a digital download code, pressed in Europe via Epic Records.
