The Rolling Stones - Living In A Ghost Town

Living In A Ghost Town is a single by British rock band The Rolling Stones, released in April 2020 via Rolling Stones and Polydor Records.

The Stones new single “Living In A Ghost Town” is their first single in four years and the first new original material released since “Doom And Gloom” and “One More Shot” in 2012.

The song has emerged from new material that the band has been recording since 2015. Since 2017 that band has been on The No Filter Tour, but had to postpone this due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band fast-tracked releasing the song due to its relevance to social distancing as a method to control the spread of COVID-19, and Jagger changed some of the lyrics to refer to the pandemic.

The single was released digitally with an accompanying video in April 2020, and followed with a vinyl release in June 2020.

The song is a beautiful meld of blues-rock and reggae influences, harking back to the sound of the band in the Black and Blue era of the mid-1970s.

This is a limited edition 10” single on orange transparent coloured vinyl at 45 RPM, single sided, pressed in Europe via Rolling Stones Records and Poydor Records.
