Pantera - Far Beyond Driven

Far Beyond Driven is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Pantera, originally released in March 1994 via EastWest Records.

Far Beyond Driven’s twelve tracks represented a continuation of the previous album's relentless musical onslaught with hard-hitting tracks like the first single “I'm Broken” as well as the mosh-pit classics “5 Minutes Alone” and “Slaughtered”.

Another standout track was the group's swirling acoustic cover of Black Sabbath's “Planet Caravan”, which became a live favourite when Pantera hit the road to support the album.

This was the bands fastest selling album reaching #1 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. The album reached #3 on the UK and #1 on the Australian albums charts.

The original album artwork was replaced in the US as the record label worried that sales would be rejected by big chain stores such as Walmart and Target.

This reissued album features the original artwork restored for this 2LP vinyl package.

This double album 2LP record set is a 2010 reissue on 180 gram black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, pressed in the Europe via EastWest Records and Rhino.
