Raw Like Sushi is the debut studio album by Swedish singer songwriter Neneh Cherry, originally released in June 1989 via Virgin Records.

It is hard to believe that 30 years have passed since the release of Neneh Cherry’s debut album. To celebrate the albums 30th Anniversary, it is being reissued on vinyl with remastered audio from Abbey Road Studios.

Her debut album is an unorthodox and brilliantly daring blend of R&B, rap, pop, and dance music. The album featured five singles, including the worldwide smash hit single “Buffalo Stance” (which hit #1 on the US dance charts) as well as hit singles “Manchild” produced by Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja, “Kisses On The Wind”, “Heart” and “Inna City Mamma”.

The album was released to universal acclaim and is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

This album is the 30^th Anniversary Remastered Edition on black vinyl with a download code, pressed in Europe via Virgin Records.
