If I Said Only So Far I Take It Back is the sixth studio album by Australian blues singer-songwriter Mia Dyson, released in March 2018 via Single Lock Records.

Mia Dyson is an Australian singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Daylesford and later moved to Torquay where she completed her secondary education. She has released six studio albums, Cold Water (May 2003), Parking Lots (April 2005), Struck Down (August 2007), The Moment (August 2012), Idyllwild (June 2014) and If I Said Only So Far I Take It Back (March 2018). Parking Lots won the Best Blues & Roots Album category at the 2005 ARIA Awards.

Since self-releasing her debut album at age 22, Mia Dyson has instilled her music with raw passion and timeless vitality, along with the sharp musicianship she’s shown in opening for the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, and Eric Clapton.

Her new album If I Said Only So Far I Take It Back was produced by Alabama Shakes keyboardist Ben Tanner and recorded in Muscle Shoals.

If I Said Only So Far I Take It Back arrives as the latest addition to an acclaimed catalog that includes 2014’s Idyllwild (praised by outlets like Rolling Stone Australia, Double J album of the Year) and 2012’s The Moment (an ARIA Music Awards nominee for Best Blues & Roots Album).

If I Said Only So Far I Take It Back is an album offering Dyson's most frenetic guitar work and delicate vocal performance yet. Mia Dyson is touring Australia in March / April 2018 including appearances at Bluesfest.
